Some suspected Boko Haram fighters numbering about 45 have been arrested in Lagos following intelligence report that they were planning to bomb an affluent neighbourhood, Dolphin Estate, in the Ikoyi area of the state. PM News reports that the suspects were apprehended by operatives of the Directorate of Security Service (DSS) and have been charged to court. A suicide bomber supposed to be a member of the deadly Boko Haram sect has attacked a mosque in Maiduguri, Borno state. The onslaught occurred early today, October 23, as Muslims gather at a mosque to observe morning prayers in the old GRA area in the troubled city.
