Nigeria's police chief receives great honour in Algeria

The Assembly also endorsed IGP of Algeria as its chairman The African Police Cooperation Mechanism has endorsed the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotun-Idris, as its second Vice Chairman.  Ndubisi Blog Confirmed that Idris’ endorsement came after he was nominated by the police Chiefs of all the West African countries resent at the forum.   The assembly also endorsed IGP of Algeria as its chairman; others are the police boss of Central Republic of African who was endorsed as the 3rd Vice Chairman while police boss of Zambia was endorsed as the rapporteur.  The officials will run the bureau for period of 2 years. Their endorsement was announced at a 3 day meeting of all police Chiefs in Africa (AFRIPOL) held in Algiers, Algeria.  The appointment of IGP Idris was collectively accepted and lauded by assembly.  Nigeria has by this appointment got the first opportunity ever to serve at such a high profile capacity of AFRIPOL in the region. Emir of Bauchi allegedly rejects Pastor Adeboye's visit to his palace

The Emir of Bauchi is said to have rejected Pastor Adeboye's evangelic visit to his palace.  Ndubisi Blog reports that the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG)'s general overseer in his evangelic mission to the Northern states in Nigeria visited Bauchi state which he as only visited twice before now in 1999 and in 2004.  Unlike his visit to Adamawa where both the governor and his deputy were present at the airport to welcome Daddy G.O. and received his prayers and blessings, the Bauchi state governor wasn't available for prayers.  Also, his request to meet with the Emir of the Bauchi, Rilwanu Suleimanu Adamu was allegedly rejected by the palace. This didn't deter Pastor Adeboye as he still used the opportunity to touch two churches within the state and even attended a wedding.  Add caption Add caption

Keita Involved in 15 goals this season.

- Keita has been involved in 15 goals this season, scoring eight goals and assisting seven RB Leipzig star Naby Keita has been slammed with a price-tag of £38million by the club. The Guinean midfielder has been a target for Premier League clubs Chelsea and Liverpool after stunning performances in the Bundesliga this season. Leipzig are currently 2nd in the league despite being promoted to the first division just last season. The 22-year-old has been instrumental to the club's campaign this season and has been involved in 15 goals. Although it is his debut season for the Bundesliga side, the midfielder has scored eight goals and assisted seven in 29 appearances for the club.  Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will be looking to bolster his squad with a box to box midfielder like N'Golo Kante. On the other hand, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the player and has been clamouring for a move for the midfielder since January. 

Manchester City fined and banned from signing players into academy

- The club side was found culpable of signing a player who is still a school boy - The Citizens were also dealt a £300,000 fine for contractual breach  Reports reaching Ndubisi Blog indicate that Manchester City have been banned by the Premier League from signing players into their academy.  The Citizens were also dealt a £300,000 fine for various offences relating to breach in signing rules.  “The ban on signing academy players will be suspended for three years from 30 June 2018 onwards,” the statement read. The Etihad side was found culpable of signing a player who is still a school boy and just 11 years old.  The youngster joined City from Everton, but the club was said to have broken the rules. Manchester City also allegedly signed another 15-year-old midfielder from Wolverhampton Wanderers into their academy. Uefa to trial brand-new penalty shootout format designed to even out advantage of going first or second

Penalty shootouts as we know them could be a thing of the past with  Uefa  unveiling plans to test a whole new system for taking spot kicks. Currently penalty shootouts see team A and team B take five penalties each in an alternating pattern with sudden death used after that if the scores are level. But under a new system proposed by football's rule making body IFAB the shootout would use a new sequence that replicates the switch of serve between tennis players in a tie break. The new system, known as ABBA, involves team A taking the first penalty, team B the second and third, team A the fourth and fifth and so on until each team had taken five. The sequence would continue if the shootout then goes to sudden death. IFAB, which approved trials of the new system in March, says research proves the team taking the first penalty have a 60 percent chance of winning, giving them an unfair advantage. Fiery Nigerian pastor releases bombshell about Buhari, says president will not die in office
