Boko Haram Suspects Remanded In Kirikiri Prison

Some suspected Boko Haram fighters numbering about 45 have been arrested in Lagos following intelligence report that they were planning to bomb an affluent neighbourhood, Dolphin Estate, in the Ikoyi area of the state. PM News reports that the suspects were apprehended by operatives of the Directorate of Security Service (DSS) and have been charged to court. Patrick Abba Moro, the former Minister of Interior, has again reported at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday, October 22. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Abba Moro, the immediate past minister of Interior Moro arrived at the commission by 11.00 am and left at 4.20 pm after he was interrogated by officials. He was  interrogated earlier on Tuesday, October 20 , following the failed immigration recruitment of May, 2014, The Punch reports. According to a top operative of the commission, Moro was asked to go on administrative bail after he was interrogated on Tuesday and was told to return on Thursday, October 22, for the continuation of the exercise. Suicide Bomber Attacks Maiduguri Mosque

A suicide bomber supposed to be a member of the deadly Boko Haram sect has attacked a mosque in Maiduguri, Borno state. The onslaught occurred early today, October 23, as Muslims gather at a mosque to observe morning prayers in the old GRA area in the troubled city. According to Sahara Reporters a yet to be determined number of Muslim worshippers have been killed.
