“I am happy in my life every day - not just the football but my life with my wife and kids in London. We enjoy it, that’s why I have stayed for a long time here.
“I have a long contract with Arsenal and I have [no reason] to leave the club."
11:00: Virgil van Dijk has NOT been included in Southampton's pre-season squad for a training camp in France.
The centre-back, who’s been linked with Liverpool and Chelsea, recently told boss Mauricio Pellegrino that he wants to leave St Mary's.
And is training separately from the rest of the first-team squad.
He is not involved with the team because psychologically he is not 100%," Pellegrino said.
"When I was talking with him, the boy said that he is not available to play because he wants to leave.”
His absence from Southampton’s pre-season tour could spark a frenzy for his signature, which is valued at £60million.
10:45: Norwich are looking to sign Jake Clarke-Salter on loan from Chelsea.
The talented 19-year-old is unlikely to feature for Antonio Conte next season, and could benefit from regular first-team action.

With the England international available, Turkish side Antalyaspor have spoken with Arsenal about a move.

10:15: Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has questioned wether Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola can deliver success in the Premier League.
He told the Sunday World: “We all thought it would be Guardiola v Mourinho doing battle at the top of the Premier League last season, but these two great managers never even came close to getting into the title mix.
“In the end, Guardiola and Mourinho were comfortably overshadowed by Antonio Conte at Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham, so they will be under big pressure when from day one next season because they are working for owners who expect to be challenging for the title.
“The record these two guys have confirms they are great managers, but they have probably taken on the biggest challenges of their career in these two jobs and it remains to be seen whether they are up to the task.”
09:55: Liverpool are actively seeking to offload winger Lazar Markovic.
The Serbia international has struggled to work his way into Jurgen Klopp’s plans, and the arrival of Mohamed Salah has relegated him further down the pecking order.
“With Lazar, it's no secret that if he finds a club then we will negotiate. It was like this last year too," Klopp told the Liverpool Echo.
“He's a really good player. I like him as a person.
“He's now fit and another one who is in the best shape since I've known him.
“Before he had problems with his groin but now he's good. There will be a club out there who needs him."
09:45 Neymar has told Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez he will snub a move to Paris Saint-Germain and remain at Barcelona.
Neymar has rocked Barcelona by looking to quit the club in a stunning world-record move to PSG.
Express Sport understands the Brazil superstar had agreed a staggering contract worth over £500,000-a-week at the French giants, who are ready to meet his £196m release clause.
But according to Spanish newspaper Sport, Neymar has now agreed to STAY after a lengthy chat with Barcelona team-mates Messi and Suarez.
09:30: Romelu Lukaku will succeed at Manchester United, according to Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
The £75million signing has already scored twice in pre-season, but failed to score against Zinedine Zidane’s side yesterday.
After United’s penalty victory, Bale said: “I just wished him good luck for the season. He has just signed for them and I hope he has a great season.
“I’m sure he knows all about the spotlight from his time at Everton and Chelsea. He has been playing for long enough now.
“He has done very well in the Premier League and I am sure he will do great for them.”
09:20: Arsene Wenger has reiterated his belief that Alexis Sanchez will stay at Arsenal this summer.
The Chile forward is entering the final year of his contract and has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.
But Wenger insists there is no need to sell one of his star players.
He said: “My mind has been made up for a while now. I think I've made it clear a few times that he is not for sale and this is my stance.
“There's always something that comes in. If it's not Sanchez then it's me, but I think Sanchez has got one year to go and we have no need to make money.
"He will be part of the team next year and after that I can understand it. But you don't want to write that but that's a version I can give you.
"We are in a strong financial situation so we want to keep our best players.
"You can see there is a fight everywhere to get top players. Man United, Manchester City, all the big clubs. All the clubs have big money."
Arsenal Transfer News: Arsene Wenger says Alexis Sanchez will NOT be sold
09:10: Celtic and Marseille are discussing a £20m deal for Moussa Dembele to head back to Ligue 1.
Frenchman Dembele scored 32 goals for Celtic last season as they achieved the domestic double.

Celtic may ask to keep Dembele until after their Champions League qualifying campaign in August before agreeing to let him leave.
09:00: Everton have received a knockout blow in their pursuit of Olivier Giroud.
Ronald Koeman’s side are searching for a talisman capable of replacing Romelu Lukaku, who joined Manchester United for an initial £75million.
But Arsene Wenger has delivered his verdict, and insists Giroud is prepared to fight Alexandre Lacazette for a starting berth.
Wenger said: “Giroud fancies the competition. As a manager, you have him on your back, wanting to play.
“He fights hard, you know. I like the way he responds to what’s happening. He is focused and determined and showed that on this tour.”
08:40: Chelsea's record signing Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi will need to make an immediate impact, according to Cesc Fabregas.
Morata arrived at Stamford Bridge last week for £70million from Real Madrid. He will replace Chelsea's first-choice forward Diego Costa, who has been told he will not feature in the club's plans next season.
With Chelsea returning to Champions League, Batshuayi is also expected to shoulder Chelsea's goalscoring burden after starting only seven games in all competitions last season.
"They are two young strikers who will have to improve as quick as possible because they are our main strikers," Fabregas told reporters.
"When you are the main striker for Chelsea you need to fight for all the competitions and if you are going to fight for all competitions you need your strikers to score lots of goals."
08:25: Tottenham are set to miss out on Estudiantes defender Juan Foyth.
Spurs want to sign the 19-year-old but appear to have been ousted by PSG.
Foyth's agent is flying to Paris for talks over an £8.5m deal.
Foyth only made his Estudiantes debut at the start of the year.
08:00: The Sun claim Liverpool have told Newcastle they must bid £10million for Sheyi Ojo.
Rafael Benitez is keen on the winger but has been warned to make his move quickly because a trio of Championship clubs are interested.
Reports claim Fulham, Derby and Middlesbrough want Ojo on a season-long loan.
07:30: Bertrand Traore has suggested that he would still be at Stamford Bridge if Chelsea didn’t sack Jose Mourinho.
The 21-year-old striker recently completed his £8.8million move to Lyon after four years in West London.
And says Mourinho is responsible for everything he’s achieved.
He said: “It was thanks to Jose Mourinho that I achieved all this.
"He pulled me out of the training center, made me play matches in Chelsea's first team. It was he who offered me my first professional contract.
"He had a plan for me, but when Chelsea did not perform well, Jose Mourinho left.”
Chelsea Transfer News: Cesc Fabregas has a warning for Michy Batshuayi and Alvaro Morata
05:15: Arsene Wenger is of the belief that Paris Saint-Germain only want Neymar because they can’t sign Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean has been linked with a move to the Parc des Princes and the French giants are closing in on a deal for Neymar.
But when asked about their interest in Arsenal’s prized asset, Wenger said: “Paris Saint-Germain cannot get Sanchez so they go for Neymar.
"I read L'Equipe in the last three or four days. It has moved from Sanchez to Neymar.”
04:00: Jamie Vardy has re-iterated he has no regrets over not to joining Arsenal.
Vardy and Leicester will take on the Gunners in the opening game of the new season - a fortnight on Friday.
Although the England international could have been turning out in an Arsenal shirt, he thinks he made the right decision staying put.
“I have no regrets whatsoever. I have made some great decisions in my life,” he said.
“Since I have been here we have had play-off heartache to winning the league, battling relegation to stay in the league to avoiding relegation to finish mid-table."
01:00: Liverpool won’t make a bid for Virgil van Dijk unless Southampton give them the green light to do so, reports claim.
The Reds were accused of ‘tapping up’ the 25-year-old, who has been valued at £50million, last month.
At the time, they were forced to issue a public apology and were told to drop their interest.
And now according to the Daily Mail, Liverpool officials have remained in touch with their counterparts at St Mary’s in order to resurrect a deal.
This time though, the report adds, Liverpool will wait to be invited to make a bid rather than anger Saints.
Sunday July 23
23:30: Alexis Sanchez's prospective move to Paris Saint-Germain from Arsenal is being held up by two factors, according to reports.
Reports over the weekend suggested PSG will lodge a £35million bid for the Chilean this week.
Manchester City have also been closely monitoring his situation, although as of yet, haven’t made an official offer.
However, according to French paper Le Parisien, a move to Paris could be on the brink of collapse.
Le Parisien says Sanchez’s wage demands and transfer are proving to be major stumbling blocks.
22:45: Manchester United are ready to offer Paris-Saint Germain £70million for Marco Verratti.
Italian publication Calciomercato claim United are prepared to test the French giants’ resolve with a €78million (£70m) bid.

Instead, United are hoping they can reach an agreement with the club by putting more money on the table.

21:10: Deportivo La Coruna have offered Arsenal’s Lucas Perez a staggering 10-year deal.
Galician newspaper DXT Campeon claim Deportivo president Tino Fernandez has tabled a ten-year offer to Perez that would see him become a technical secretary after hanging up his boots.
The report suggests Perez may have already accepted the offer but Deportivo and Arsenal still need to agree a fee.
The Gunners forked out £17million for his services last year but are likely to have to take a loss this time around with the Spanish side prepared to pay around £10m.
20:10: Has Antonio Conte hinted there could be a new signing on his way to Chelsea in the coming days?
Speaking yesterday, the Italian coach hinted: “In Singapore, [Antonio] Rudiger and [Alvaro] Morata will arrive, maybe someone else.
“I hope. I know very well that the club is working strong, very hard to try to make me the best way to work.”
19:10: Bookies Paddy Power think Liverpool’s moves to sign Virgil van Dijk and Naby Keita are basically ‘done deals’.
Van Dijk is now 3/10 to be playing at Anfield before September 1st while Keita is the same price to make the move.
A Paddy Power spokesman said: "It's quite the double for Jurgen Klopp - and some pay-out for the Liverpool board.
"They're the signings Liverpool fans have been calling out for, and it looks like done deals.
Cristiano Ronaldo
18:25: Zinedine Zidane reckons Cristiano Ronaldo is going nowhere this summer.
“As you say there has been a lot of talk about Cristiano," he said.

"I look and listen as everyone does, but what matters to me is what he wants to do with Madrid and I think it's going to stay.”
17.45: West Brom are set to bid £10million for Manchester United defender Chris Smalling, according to the Daily Star.
The report says the Baggies have retained an interest in the centre-half ever since the end of last season.
Tony Pulis is said to admire the 27-year-old and is keen to add some youth to West Brom's defensive ranks.
Smalling could also reunite with his former team-mate Jonny Evans who has been made Baggies captain this season.
17.20: Jurgen Klopp seems to have ended talk of Emre Can heading to Juventus by revealing he is contract negotiations with Liverpool.
"You can imagine we're involved in talks and we all feel good and confident in this moment,” Klopp said.
“That means they're not the worst talks but until anything is done or signed there's nothing to say.
“Emre is a very important player for us. We don't want to sell or lose players who are in our first line up or close to it.
“Emre is certainly one of them. We want to keep him and we're having good talks.”
16:30: Some more news on Arsenal’s pursuit of Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.
The Gunners are said to be in talks over his availability and are preparing to make an offer.
And it seems the 25-year-old is pushing for a switch to north London with Portuguese newspaper Record claiming Carvalho is prioritising a move to Arsenal.
Carvalho grew up idolising Thierry Henry and wears the No.14 shirt for Sporting in tribute to the Gunners legend.
15.40: Antonio Candreva's agent has claimed he could be tempted into leaving Inter Milan for Chelsea.
"Antonio is very calm at the moment and is only thinking about Inter," Pastorello told Italian outlet FCInter1908.
"He’s happy with the arrival of [Luciano] Spalletti as the new coach.
"I would say it’s 80 per cent that he stays at Inter but Chelsea? You cannot exclude anything at the moment”.
15.00: Ivan Perisic  will be allowed to leave Inter Milan if a satisfactory offer is made, manager Luciano Spalletti has claimed.
"He is a fantastic player and if his future was totally up to me, I would definitely keep him," Spalletti said.
"However, if an offer comes and the club are satisfied with the money, which will be used to invest in and strengthen the team, he could leave."
Perisic has been linked with a move to Manchester United for weeks but they are yet to meet Inter's demands.
Ivan Perisic
14:45: Liverpool have reportedly set their price for Philippe Coutinho - and it will cost Barcelona one of their players too.
Ernesto Valverde's side have already seen a £72m bid rejected by the Reds, and Liverpool have made it clear they consider Coutinho not for sale.
According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, though, the Reds have tabled an alternative proposal to Barcelona over their No1 transfer target.
Liverpool would apparently listen to an offer of either Rafinha or Andre Gomes plus a big fee for star man Coutinho.
The chance to offload one of the two fringe players as part of a deal would delight Barcelona, but they still feel the current asking price from Liverpool is still too high.
14:35: Javier Hernandez is having a medical at West Ham tomorrow ahead of his £16million move.

The Hammers announced on Thursday that they had agreed a deal with Bayer Leverkusen to sign the Mexico striker.

And now the move is on the brink of completion with Hernandez set to undergo tests with club doctors on Monday.

14:04: Arsenal have opened talks with Sporting to sign midfielder William Carvalho, according to transfer guru Tancredi Palmeri.
And Portuguese newspaper Record say the transfer move could go through as Carvalho wants to join the Gunners.

Arsene Wenger’s men came close to signing the Portugal international, 25, last year only for him to stay at Sporting.
13:40: Chelsea face being rejected by Christian Benteke should they make an approach for the Crystal Palace goalscorer.
Antonio Conte is a fan of the £27m Belgium international, despite having seen the 26-year-old flop at Liverpool.
A back-up striker is on the manager's agenda, with Swansea star Fernando Llorente Conte's preferred option, having already targeted a reunion.
Benteke is also being closely looked at, however, The Independent say he is unwilling to give up first-team football in such a key year.
With his place in the Belgium squad for the 2018 World Cup of utmost importance, Benteke appears set to stay at Palace.

Lucas Perez

12:55: Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has surprisingly told Neymar on WhatsApp to stay at Barcelona, according to stunning reports in Spain.
The pair have huge respect for each other amid their club rivalry and share Nike as a sponsor.
As a result, Ronaldo and Neymar talk away from football and are claimed to have been in contact on WhatsApp over the past few days.
The 32-year-old feels Neymar must stay with the Catalan giants or face seeing his career go backwards, Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim.
Ronaldo has warned Neymar joining PSG would be taken a big step down.
The Portuguese believes only Madrid are a bigger club than Barcelona in world football, despite the financial pull PSG now offer.

When asked if he was contemplating leaving the Red Devils this summer, he replied: "No, now I am focused at United.

However, Swansea value Llorente highly in their team and have placed a £30m price-tag on him.
11:50: Arsenal great Tony Adams has helped Manchester United - yep, you have read that right!

Adams took United midfielder Andreas Pereira, 21, under his wing at relegated Granada last season.

He sharpened up Pereira’s defensive skills and he’s returned to England more confident than ever of kicking on at Manchester United.

The midfielder laughed when a video of the Granada manager's overzealous training 'dance' was mentioned but insists the ex-England defender is far from a figure of fun.

"No, he was good," Pereira said. "He spoke with a me a lot of times individually.

"I have learned a lot from him and he's a good man. He taught me a lot of defensive plays because obviously he has been a defender.

"I am very happy that I got to work with him.”

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Neymar has given the green light on a six-year deal worth £26.4million a year.

That’s the same Messi earns after his renewal at Barcelona and doesn’t include a huge signing-on fee that the Brazilian would bank.

Neymar came close to joining PSG last summer before opting to stay put.

But now it appears his dad will get a deal done for his superstar son to complete a world-record switch.
Neymar
11.00: Lucas Perez will reportedly soon make known his decision whether to stay at Arsenal or join Fenerbahce on loan.
The Istanbul-based club are keen on the 28-year-old and have been in talks with the Gunners over a potential loan deal for the Spaniard.
Turkish outlet NTVSpor claim Perez will soon make a decision about where he will be playing, although he would favour a return to La Liga.
But with the Russia World Cup next year, Perez could take a punt on Fenerbahce to play regular football and increase his chances of making the Spain squad.
10:54: Liverpool fans are begging the club to announce the signing of Naby Keita.
One tried to blackmail the club with an emotional birthday-related plea.

He said: “Announce Van Dijk and Keita already or this is a horrible birthday. @LFC.”

A fellow Kopite added: “If #LFC announce keita and vvd on the same day the population will rise by 40% 9 months after!!”

Another begged: “Announce VVD AND KEITA.” That view was backed up by another impatient fan who tweeted: “Can liverpool announce keita tomorrow ?”
10:25: Chelsea have been accused of distorting the Premier League by former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys.

Keys believes it’s not right that the Blues have sent four of their players out on loan to Premier League clubs.

Midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has joined Crystal Palace while striker Tammy Abraham has agreed a season-long loan with Swansea.

Kurt Zouma has joined Stoke, Casey Palmer has been sent to Huddersfield while Izzy Brown could follow him to the Terriers.

Keys tweeted: “I still don't think it's right that PL clubs can loan to each other - it distorts the competition.

“That's 4 Chelsea have got on loan to PL clubs now - who can all play v the rest - but not Chelsea. I repeat - it distorts the competition.”
09:56: Monaco have told Arsenal they must pay £55million for winger Thomas Lemar.

The French giants will sell the France international, 21, but only if Arsenal come up with big cash to get him.

It’s a major blow to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who has made Lemar one of his top targets.

However, Monaco fear their golden generation could be obliterated this summer and are doing all they can to ensure that doesn’t happen.

09:50: Liverpool ace Emre Can has reportedly agreed a deal to join Juventus.
The Reds are still looking to tie him down to a new deal, with his current contract expiring in 2018.
But according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Can has now agreed personal terms with Juventus.

But it appears to have fallen on deaf ears with the deal already at an advanced stage and a meeting with board members having been held in America.
08:20: Arsenal are favourites with the bookies to land Ross Barkley from Everton this summer.
Manchester United and Tottenham have been linked to the wantaway Toffees playmaker.
But Express Sport understands the Gunners can afford to budget Barkley's £150,000-a-week salary demands - something Spurs will not do.
Arsenal, though, are also waiting for Everton to drop their £50m demands.
A bidding war late in the window could ensue as a result, with Barkley out of contract at Goodison Park next year.
07:35: Jose Mourinho still wants Manchester United to sign two new players this transfer window.

The United boss confirmed he has discussed the over-inflated transfer market with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

United have brought in Benfica defender Victor Lindelof and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku this summer while work goes on behind the scenes to bring in more fresh blood.

Mourinho said: "My plan for the team, for the evolution of the team in this second transfer window for me - because the transfer window of last December we didn't use that - I told you that my plan was to get four players, to give balance to the team in all the different areas.

"To make a better squad, but with the development of the market, you know, I was getting the feedback from Mr Woodward, I was analysing myself from distance because I never get involved.

"But from distance, it is easy to feel that I repeat the same, the market is very difficult.

"If the club has no chance to give me the four players, then (so) be it. I like my group, I like my players and I go with them.

"But I still have the hope I can have a third player, who knows a fourth but at least a third."
Renato Sanches

But, for that money, who can blame them for cashing in?
05:30: Riyad Mahrez will reject Roma because the Leicester star dreams of playing for Arsenal.
The Sun claim the Algeria international is determined to force through a move to the Gunners.
As a result, he is not interested in playing in Italy and could even bide his time to make the move.
He supposedly thinks Arsenal could make a play for him late in the transfer window - particularly if Alexis Sanchez leaves.
05:15: Chelsea have signed Fluminense starlet Richarlison.
That's according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The youngster is wanted by Blues boss Antonio Conte to provide competition for Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi up top.
And Di Marzio says the Blues have successfully beaten the likes of AC Milan and Inter Milan to his signature.
05:00: Manchester United are seriously thinking about signing Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Verratti.
The Mirror say the Red Devils are in talks with PSG over a move.
